本プロジェクトでは、ネパールの農村地域における性別、カースト、民族、収入グループ間の教育格差の主な要因を探ることを目的としています。また、実証的な調査結果の影響を検討し、農村地域における包括的な教育開発の枠組みを構築することで、SDG4、すべての人に包摂的かつ公平な質の高い教育を提供し、生涯にわたる学習の機会を促進することに貢献します。

Determinants of educational disparity in rural Nepal: Implication for achieving the education related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at local level

This research project aims to explore the key determinants of educational disparity across gender, caste, ethnic, and income groups in rural Nepal. It will also examine the impacts of such disparity on the socio-economic development of the local community. The study will explore the implications of empirical findings and develop a framework for inclusive educational development in rural areas that will directly contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal #4: ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
